Are you shopping online more?

Wayne and I were discussing the viability of opening an online store with the way the economy is going. He feels that as gas prices go up even with higher shipping rates, more and more people will be shopping online.

As someone who is tryig to build an online business I would be very interested in knowing if you agree? I'm on the fence about this. I feel as gas prices go up it won't matter if you are online or not - people will be shopping less for things that aren't necessary.
