After many years of extreme illness and disease Gina passed from kidney failure April fourth 2015. Her near 30 years of fighting Lymphedema (parasitic) finally took her life. The treatments for her disease included high dosages of diuretics which finally overcame her kidneys. This group often criticized her for her decision to do weight reduction surgery and she did not feel comfortable posting. I thought there may be some of the older people on the group that may remember her contributions. Gina ran the SuperSig for one year and was very involved with the SF Bay Area NAAFA and co founded the Sacramento chapter. She always did her best for the fat acceptance movement though the press was not always good to her. I will miss her forever and cannot wait to be reunited on the other side.
