I'm a big fan of the shows Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmerman and Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, both of which are on the Travel Channel. They travel around the world and often eat very unusual things. Some of the dishes include cobra blood in Thailand, haggis in Scotland, nutria rat in Louisiana, rotted meat in Morocco, bird nest soup in China, whale blubber in Alaska, and testicles and insects prepared in various ways in countless countries.
I have eaten a few bizarre foods in my life. I love tripe and barbecued intestines and had heart and throat meat a few times. I also have eaten chocolate covered crickets and meal worms. Alligator is pretty good. I'm pretty adventurous when it comes to food. I might not like it, but I will always try it first. Has anyone else here dined on such unique cuisine?
