I was thinking that since so many of us like to read, maybe it would be interesting to try a book club here on Dims? This is sort of how I think it might work:
New book at the beginning of the month. 3 weeks for reading, and the last week of the month could be for the posts and discussion. I guess posts could be made at any time, just so long as there are no spoilers for the current book of the month. The new book for the following month should probably be announced the 3rd weekend of the current month so that people can get the new books.
I haven't thought of a way to come up with the reading lists- I guess it could be seasonal, what's "hot", does Oprah still do her book club? Sounds queer, but it might be a good way to keep it simple..just use whatever she is using??
