Alright, i just started the Graduate Opera program at NEC, and have been cast in the role of Amneris in their scenes program, now honestly, my Aida is Gorgeous, and while I'm perfectly satisfied with my looks, i still want to find a jaw-dropping fabulous costume.
a bit on the character I'm playing
Amneris is an Ancient Egyptian Princess, and is intensely jealous of the love between Radames and Aida, to call her a B*tch is to put it nicely.
so, I'm a fair hand at hand sewing, and I'm more than willing to spend up to $80 on a costume (not much more though, it's still a costume)
anyone have any ideas on either sewing patterns or places to look for costumes?
on me:
i wear a size 28/30 top,
32/34 bottoms,
and I'm about 5'10
so yeah.
please help, I'm totally clueless!
