I went to the local drugstore to pick up some prescriptions for myself and a friend (for friend read -- known for 25 years, Mensa member, championship Scrabble player, past president of NAAFA, recipient of many toast master awards)
When it was my turn to pick up the prescriptions I asked to speak to the manager. I pointed out to him that the one armless chair had been removed and now all five chairs had arms. I explained that my 340 pound bottom barely sit in the chair and that my friend's larger bottom would not fit in the chair. I asked, "If it had been my friend instead of me coming to pick up the prescriptions where would my friend have sat?" I also pointed out that my friend was not the only fat woman in all of Hagerstown.
The manager thanked me for calling this to his attention and told me that in the very near future I could expect to see an armless chair in the waiting area.
For those who might argue that they would have simply stood my response is that I am glad that your arthritis is not as painful as my friends is.

P.S. if any of you are going to the Baltimore-Washington New Year's Eve dance I am going and it is my understanding that my friend will probably also attend. If you have wished to talk with me or my friend this will be your chance.
