Seems that Canada is leading the world out of recession. Canada was the last western economy to go into recession and the first to emerge from recession -- its GDP is growing at a rate of 6% and its adding jobs. Its banks, which didn't participate in shenanigans of the last five or so years, are among the words strongest. Indeed the Bank of Canada just raised interest rates to ward off inflation.
