I've been quite disappointed with regard to the lack of fight in many Democrats. However, some do standout. Barbra Lee's always a bright spot. As is rookie Congressman Alan Grayson. Both are willing to call their own party on its BS (Lee was the only member of Congress who voted against going to war in 2001) and both are willing to fight for their constituents.
Like many politicians Grayson is an Ivy League grad -- but he came up through public schools in The Bronx and worked nights as a janitor and security guard to pay for Harvard.

If the Democrats do loose seats in November hopefully they'll realize that bipartisanship is dead (Republicans killed it) and the only way to fight the Christian/conservative right is to fight in the trenches.
