I was wondering if anybody else gets criticized for what they eat. I think this is probably one of my greatest pet-peeves. I'm generally a nice person, and I'm beginning to think this is a flaw in this world.
I personally like ketchup, I like to put it on a lot of things. I know this is my personal thing, and that other people might not like that, I'm perfectly cool with that. But it's just that everybody makes some kind of comment about how "horrible" it is for me, completely unsolicited, when in fact it's one of the healthier things for you, certainly healthier than "juice". Everyone from my father to work colleagues it gets very annoying.
Whereas there's a lot of foods that can annoy my sensitivities such as the smell of seafood or something like sauerkraut, which has a distinctive odor if you know what I mean, and I never say a word to the person because I don't wish to hurt their feelings or get in their business, that's just how I was raised.
So I was just wondering if anybody else has to deal with this bullsh*t also. Sometimes I just want to say "Mind your own effing business", my body, my life, but even when I do speak up, it seems to go in one ear and out the other. And, what really gets me is that not only do thinner people do this, but fat people as well with a diet mindset. I think this is one of the reasons I prefer to eat in private, in peace, away from criticism.
