Who here enjoys dystopian novels? Why?
I loved Brave New World (Imagine a place without Shakespeare, where sex was taught like Phys. Ed., and where you could trip all you wanted on a fantastic heroin-esque drug called soma?) That's scary!
A Handmaid's Tale was pretty terrifying. I'd hate to live in a world where I was dehumanized and disassembled so that I literally was a walking womb in the eyes of society. I see the most minute stirrings of such a fate now....
