there is an interesting thread posted about sexual humiliation and fat people , whether they like it or participate in it. i would like to talk about a different aspect altogether. there have been a rash of shows on t.v. about weight loss or spots centered on deriding people who purposefully gain. they always seem to have the same aspects. they show people eating a lot--probably more than they could actually really eat in real life . they are nearly always made to strip off run and exert themselves and jiggle around for others to show contempt in their commentary. there is always a lot of crying of fat people over their misery and shame at their "condition". lately any excuse the media has to do this seems to be taken advantage of. but i have always felt deep down that the media is feeding a type of sexual need that many in the public seem to have. have you ever felt this when you watch those shows, or witness other aspects of public humiliation of fat people?
