I just had to share some happy news...I posted a long time ago about my struggle trying to get insurance and finally got Kaiser Permanente insurance and after 8 years of no insurance had a full physical...now other than my lingering back issues from my ruptured disc and accompanying surgeries I got a clean bill of health. My blood pressure was slightly elevated from the anxiety of the first appt. but no diabetes, no thyroid issues, lower than normal cholesterol etc... I was amazed and thrilled. I am at my highest weight ever of 420 and this doctor was so great...he was patient, kind and was the first doctor to ever tell me that I was fine and he wouldn't recommend weight loss surgery. He said that if I took off a few pounds my back would feel better but that as long as my tests were good he was happy. How cool is that? WhOOHOOOO!
