Yesterday Louise went to a hip surgeon. He asked her a bunch of questions, studied her medical records in great detail, looked carefully at a CAT scan of her hip, and told her that as soon as she gets rid of the C diff he can begin the preliminary procedures to get her a new hip. Monday Louise goes to a G.I. specialist and hopefully he will come up with procedures to finally get rid of the C diff. The cortisone shot has significantly reduce Louise's pain.
Those of you who interacted with her in Nashville know how hard she worked to try to be sociable in spite of the great pain. Now that the pain is almost no longer there she is interacting with joy and happiness with most everyone. She hopes to go to the summer NAAFA convention if she's not recovering from hip replacement by that time
