The video here shows a house being crunched and swept away under a bridge near the area where we put in to float the White River. Below is a photo of Cas (aka EyeMInsane) and I enjoying the river during calmer times.

Tomorrow afternoon the Arkansas River here in Little Rock will reach 22 feet, one foot below flood stage. Tonight I drove across the interstate bridge and was alarmed at how high the river is--just 3.3 feet to flood stage. I don't live far from the river, but fortunately there is a nice high ridge separating me from it.
