France vs. New Zealand, that'll be the final in the world rugby championships. Who'd have thunk.
Now I don't follow rugby, and don't even know how it's played. But I watched that movie with Matt Damon and Morgan Freeman on South Africa winning the rugby world championship, and then looked a bit more into it. Looks like a good part of the world considers rugby more interesting than soccer or baseball or American football. And rugby championships, every four years or so, last forever. Gotta love a sport where Tonga, Fiji, Namibia and Georgia make it to the world finals (and finish ahead of the US), and the overall atmosphere is reminiscent more of Quidditch than anything that might be covered by ESPN.
So does France have a chance?
