This article (link below) appeared recently in our local paper. I like this article. I've often wished that I could go back in time, not to change anything, but just to whisper to my young self, "Have courage. It's all going to work out alright." While I do still give 'gifts' to my future self, even at this age, now it the time to give gifts to those many younger folks who resemble my younger self, and who tread similar paths. And who knows? Maybe my younger self did hear the resonances of that - perhaps relayed and amplified by such people as certain patient and beloved college professors, in whose names we now contribute scholarship funds.
But, however you do it, never hesitate to give gifts to your future self, because the greatest gifts that you can, someday, give to others are your own strength, knowledge, sagacity and love.
