Yah....I had an accident snowmachining.
My ski came off the front of my sled going 40 mph and it dug in. I was flung about 20 feet into the air, across the snow/ice. I re-injured my knee (thought I broke my leg), sprained my neck, bruised my pelvis, bruised my ribs, tore my quad & hamstring muscle...lost consciosness. When Tom Selleck found me, my leg was behind my head twisted and I was out. We were out about 30 miles from the nearest roadway; I couldn't ride out...I went into shock fairly quickly anyway. Tom Selleck had to leave me for a short time to find an area where there was cell phone coverage.
It was scary.....all I remember is a brief moment of "This is gonna *ucking hurt" and I remember my foot hitting me in the back of my head!
Anyway I'm home...I am really, really, really sore; but I'm okay. I will probably have to have my knee re-done; but we will see.
I did get a picture of a baby beaver though!
