Hopefully I'm posting in the right category...... I have been looking for a scale that goes up to 500 or 600 pounds, and cannot find one for under $300. I see a few on Amazon that only go up to 440 pounds, and I have a feeling I'm borderline 440 anyway. Does anyone know of a place to be weighed (doctor's office, specialist) or a place to get a cheap heavy duty scale?

Also, I heard that if you buy two normal scales and put one foot on each one and add the readings together, you will get your weight. This seems a little doubtful, but it might work. That way, one could have a collective scale that goes up to 700-800 pounds for only 50 bucks, if that.

Thanks for reading! -Vin
