90 pound weakling picked on and preyed on by bullies, passionately wants to fight for his country, to do the right thing, to fight the axis, keeps getting rejected by recruitment offices, but he never gives up! And when he gets to be Captain America he doesn't get a big head, he's still humble, he still only wants to selflessly do the right thing!
My favorite growing up always teetered back and forth between the Hulk and Captain America, but we always got to see the Hulk in a million things, several tv series (all but one animated) but it was always a rare treat to see Captain America on screen. And now he's got his own movie (there was a horrible sucky one that needs to be erased from history in 1990, and the tv movies were fun but they don't really count) at last!
