So apparently the first restaurant I ever went to all by myself (and where my Dims profile pic was taken) has decided to change their name without consulting me. I guess I get why they wanna change their name and I can see how it's easy to just "flip" the p into a b (not to mention how punny it is for a pancake joint to "flip" their name), but I'm just not sure I'll ever get used to going to eye HOB. This article seems to think the b is gonna stand for burgers which are my favorite non-breakfast thing to get there, but there are just so many burger places out there already it seems foolish to try to compete in that arena. Assuming this is going to be a permanent change, my money is on the b standing for brunch, but my other thought (since the burger thing does appear to come from a reputable source) is that the name change isn't actually going to be a permanent change, but rather a promotional stunt to push their burgers for the summer. Thoughts?
