Butterbelly
Melting in the desert
I've received lots of private messages over the past few months from various Dimensions members wanting to know the progress of my cancer treatment.
I'm doing fantastic. I'm done with treatments, as of December 8th. Right now, I have monthly checkups and blood tests to make sure the cancer "markers" are coming down in numbers, and that there is no reoccurrence.
My oncologists (yes, two of them) do not feel that I will have to have any chemotherapy. If there is to be anymore course of action, it will result in surgery again. YUCKY!!!!
Other than that, things are great. I have a new job that is keeping me quite busy, and two new freelance writing contacts. I'm also doing quite a bit of pottery, pen and ink, and dabbling in a bit of stained glass. I recently had an art exhibit down in Eureka Springs, Ark, and did very well. My next art exhibit will be in Springfield, Missouri, in Feb.
I'm also playing with the band occasionally, not that I have a whole lot of spare time anymore. But, I wouldn't miss out on the chance to play the saxophone at least a couple times a month.
Thanks everyone for your support, words of encouragement, and concern. I do appreciate it very much. I hope you all are having a wonderful start to the new year.
