I'm not sure if anyone here has experience with this (or maybe you work in health insurance), but I'm trying to find an individual insurance policy that will accept me at my current BMI. I'm a nanny, so there are no such things as "group policies" in my field...but I need coverage as I do have some minor health issues that need a little maitenence (nothing huge). I've contacted a few companies that specifically work with nannies and other domestics, but the insurance companies they work with don't offer policies to people with BMI's as high as mine. I'm about 5'2 and maybe 270, whatever that translates to in BMIese...I think its around a 50. I really hate being without health coverage, so I'm trying to figure this one out. Thought maybe some folks here might be able to point me in the right direction?
