Hi Everyone,

I'm new here, and very new to this size acceptance movement, I've always been fat, and have been teased fairly heavily for it, so I always felt like my fat was a very bad thing, so this is completely new to me. It is wonderful to have found a place to go where I don't feel ashamed.

As an SSBBW, I have a hard time with some things, but really am just like a normal person who just doesn't fit well into movie theatre seats, has some aches and pains, and knocks things over with her ass...I do feel like my size has made me the person I am today, who cares about everyone, is patient and caring, and will do anything to help someone who needs it, and would never do or say anything to intentionally hurt someone...I always vowed to never treat other people the way I was treated, and sometimes this gets me taken advantage of, but I still wouldn't change that for anything in the world.

So I'm wondering if anyone else has had this same thing, or what parts of your personality do you attribute to the way you've been treated?

Being an SSBBW can be really hard on the self esteem, but it really helps to know that there is somewhere to go and feel accepted :) I look forward to hearing what others think.
