hi everyone,
Wonder does anyone remember this story, it's about a woman who goes to an island or forest or something and ends up captured by the natives and is kept in a hut and fed (possibly some sort of bark? Can't remember exactly.) She eventually makes a hole in the back of the hut but is so fat by this stage she can barely squeeze through and run off to escape.
I think it was written in a sort of diary format but not sure. I know it's vague but I'm sure I remember reading this, but I've never been able to find it again since!
