I could've sworn there was a thread about Mac vs PC at one point here...but I can't seem to find it in the search function, so I'm sorry if this is a repeat...
However, I am looking into a Mac laptop...not sure which one is for my liking, I'm not familiar with Macs at all. I know that my Dell Inspiron has done me well, but it's finally dying and at this point I'm getting irritated by it's "lugg-y-ness". I want a smooth operating laptop that can handle copious amounts of .pdf files, charting, word processing, and various entertaining qualities (pictures, dvd-enabled, games, etc.).
Any help would be grateful. I'd like to have either a PC or Mac that is lightweight, yet powerful -- pretty, yet sturdy...I don't know!! Oh, and if you're going to reply with some computer-y jargon, please translate into lamen's terms
