I caught a bit of the Alice in Wonderland cartoon this morning, and I realized that back in mostly the first half of the twentieth century, musicals were everywhere: movies, plays, cartoons, you name it. Nowadays, they're around, but not much. Why do you think that is? Too expensive to make? Too complicated to organize? Not popular anymore? Something else?
