TLC to Feature Overweight Family in New Series
Our favorite chronicler of abnormal children and people with physical disabilities, TLC, has just ordered a six-episode series called "One Big Happy Family" that will follow a morbidly obese family of four dealing with the world.
The family's stats are as follows: Dad, 340 lbs.; Mom, close to 400 lbs.; and teenage kids, 330 and 340 lbs. "'Little People, Big World' is about little people living in a big world. This is about big people living in a little world -- fat people living in a skinny world," said creator Mark Duffy.
