Louise is going to spend a week in Las Vegas. She will be attending some sort of an extended poker tournament. She does not want me along because she fears that I will be a party pooper. She is probably correct. She probably does not want me reminding her that if she stays up too late on Saturday night she might not be up in time for church services (they must have some church services in Las Vegas) on Sunday.

Basic information. Louise is 5'8" tall, weighs about 370 pounds, and has 71 inch hips. With a cane she can walk about 100 feet. She can go up and down five or six steps. She will be taking her jazzy scooter with her. The batteries in the jazzy scooter are certified as safe for airplanes. Louise takes a variety of medicines and she is an insulin-dependent diabetic. Louise also uses a CPAP machine which she will be taking with her. What problems might she have been going through airport security? Louise will be paying for two seats in coach. Louise has reserved a handicapped room which has a tub rather than a walk-in shower. Louise called up a shuttle company which at first said they would transport her from the airport to the hotel for $75 and then, after questioning by Louise, they came down to $7.50.

Some of the people here are large people who have been to the hotels in Las Vegas. What kinds of things must Louise watch out for? What problems might she have in getting from point A to point B? In particular, what have the large people reading this used to sit on in the shower? When Louise asked, the woman told Louise that they had shower chairs which could handle all the way from 80 to 200 pounds. What did the three and 400 pound people here, who took showers in Las Vegas, use.
