I thought I'd post this....

It's a 4 pages NY Times article on women's plus size fashion. It talks about different stores, the history of plus size clothing for women and all sorts of really interesting things.
Beeing an SSBBW myself, I know how it can be so hard to find figure flattering clothing that I like (and don't settle for, or buy the not so worst item), in my size, that I find attractive and choose without setteling!
It also talks about the Internet market. Up here in Canada, the plus size clothing stores are very limited. Thank God for stores that ship internationally!!!! Still, it's not an easy things because you never know what's going to arrive at yout door step, size wise (because every company has different proportions and measurments, I find ) and quality wise also... It's a surprise everytime!
It seams that you have to choose between shiny tattoo t-shirt with frills and skinny jeans or ''granny'' looks that even my grandmother would not wear! There is a market between those two!! I'm in it! Hahahahaha!
May I ask why oh why, some stores feel the need to put christmas trees, snowflakes, pumpkins sequens and frills (and all sorts of seasonal stuff) on there shirts, just where ''the girls' (thank you Stacy London for the expression) are? It can sometimes be cute, but most of the time it's a WHY is that there moment!
Wow I guess I had a lot of frustration to get out!!!
Hope you find the article interesting also! I find hope in it!!!
