The Anime for Plus Sized Elf debuted last Sunday. It's based on a manga that was originally released in 2016. The story is about an elf and other mythical beings who contact a medical massage therapist for assistance with weight loss/muscle building. In the case of the main character (Elfuda), she's a strict vegan on her home planet primarily eating potatoes. But they're unseasoned and normally boiled. So when she comes to earth she gets addicted to french fries.
That might make it triggering for some, but it's also a dirty comedy. Despite some instances that might border on being shameful all of the characters are basically meant to also be attractive. So far the shaming is more like gags than outright being what I deem offensive. So kind of some mixed messages. But I still think it's quite entertaining even outside of reasons. Lol Honestly I feel it has some potential. But the perception outside of the community is mixed. So not sure if the show has a longer future.
But I recommend giving it a try.
