Well part of it despite the wait while they tried to fix the plane and find us a new one for four hours. I flew Westjet a Canadian airline and upon check in the booking agent takes a look at me and as she was assigning seats for the three of us that were travelling together. And said "Seeing as the plane is not full I will assign you two seats in this row and place one of you across the aisle so you can all still talk to each other, but will have room to place your coats or purses in the seat in between you" I was able to have the armrest up and not be wedged in. We had two plus size(well for flight attendants anyway) flight attendants and one made sure that I knew of the pillows built in to the seat so I would be comfy if I wanted to snooze, that we had cold drinks and snacks, and joked with us. And we got money off flight vouchers, a meal voucher, and coffee packets as a thank you for our patience with the plane issues. I fly with them again next month as I head to more training and actually look forward to it. Will be sending them a nice note.
