I'm sure that I'm not the only one who's noticed the increase of personal attacks in posts here lately.

I think, for the most part, that we are all adults. You would think that we would realize that we are all from different backgrounds, have a different set of experiences to bring to the table, and the "fat experience" effects us in varying ways.

Why is it then, that some posters feel the need to, sometimes viciously, attack a person that does not agree with what that poster had said.

Granted, sometimes things can be taken out of context or appear to have a different voice than what they truly do. Meaning, something could come off very sarcastic or mean and that not have been the intention in the least bit. Remember, we are typing a conversation, not verbally having one, so we miss out on the body and voice clues that we would get with a in person conversation.

I'm just asking for the respect level for others come up a few notches. When you are disrespectful to another poster, it makes you look like more an ass than you think they were actually being.

This is just my 2 cents. You can chose to agree or not agree..But please do so in a respectful manor. THANK YOU
