I heard through the grapevine that Nancy Summer died last Friday, 3/5/16.
For those that are not old-timers in the fat acceptance scene, Nancy was past president of NAAFA, co-founder of Amplestuff - the first retailer providing products to help supersize fat people with their lifestyle needs, and was one of the co-founders of the Council on Size and Weight Discrimination.
My sympathies to Miriam, Bill, and all those who were close to Nancy.
