I've been bombarded with bad news this week.
Two friends of mine lost their mother. Both of their mothers had been sick for a long time. One was battling cancer for about 5 years. The other has had several strokes the past 3 years.
Another friend of mine, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor earlier this year, had seemed to be doing better. The seizures had slowed down, and he was beginning to remember the name for things. He had a seizure last night and ended up back at the hospital. The tumor is bleeding, they can't get it to stop, they don't think he'll make it.
And now another friend of mine just told me that she has to go for some more tests. She has some atypical cells when she had a follow-up exam from a minor surgery she had.
I need to hear something good...so come on folks...good news!
