Ok, ok, this is an old complaint, I know, but could I vent for a moment? Just received the Silhouettes summer catalog. It's filled with gorgeous bohemian/gypsy long skirts and dresses, shirts and tunics. I could make a summer wardrobe out of these babies for a couple of years at least. So what's my beef? Not ONE of those bohemian items goes over a 3X. (And I'm a 5X or a 6X.) Not even one, I tell you!
In the back of the catalog are the same old tired knit dresses, jumpers, and tees, plus a load of jeans. THEY go up to 6X, some even to a 7X. So once again the supersizes are relegated the rear of the catalog and the ugliest of the clothes. Brings back memories of the "old days", when fat women were offered polyester pants, tops, and tent dresses. And nothing else.
I think I mentioned in another thread that Silhouettes no longer gets my business-and it used to get a lot. And this is the reason why.....
