and noticed the long length of the players' shorts.
It looks silly to me.
From the 1950s (the heydey of basketball) to the 1980s, basketball shorts were brief and the men were not ashamed.
What is it about alot of men these days being afraid to show skin and hiding under baggy clothing?
Why is it the female cheerleaders' outfits are getting skimpier while the players' are getting baggier?
This bagginess of shorts trend is also seen in soccer players and general men's swimwear (though not yet in professional swimming). Men's swimwear of the past was not so baggy.
When did so many men become afraid to wear more form fitting clothing? Are these men afraid to be called 'gay'? What is it? Is it the aversion to people seeing one's 'bulge'? So what? That never bothered men from the past. Why are women today expected to show so much skin but men can't do the same without their sexuality being questioned?
