I have been stood up more than I can count.
I have talked to guys on line and arranged to meet them and had them stand me up for everything from breakfast, dinner, movies etc... I have been stood up for Halloween as well.
I am honest about how I look and they see my site before they ever ask me out, I have figured out that the IHOP by my place is set up so I can see them before they see me and so I KNOW they are just plain not showing up, not seeing me and leaving.
Here is the thing, when I use to try to meet these guys they ALL approached me, not the other way around, they all asked me to go out with them.
I have not had a blind date in over a year because of this until this last Halloween when I was suppose to meet this guy at the club I was at listening to a band and he never showed. I came home to find a note saying that he had tried to call me over and over at the number I gave him (the right number) but I know since it is my cell that he never called.
Some of the guys offer an excuse but most just never say a word to me again. And people wonder why it is hard for me to trust men these days.
ANYWAY...
Am I the only person who gets stood up?
How do you handle it, have you ever given the person a second chance?
