I love food. THOROUGHLY.

I don't know how to cook it, though, to save my life. I have a fully outfitted kitchen (pots, pans, spices, etc), a little countertop grill, a functioning stove, and a microwave, that haven't been used the entire 6 months I've lived on my own.

My fridge does not house food; rather, it's the home of my cat's food bag, nailpolish, candles, and water.

I'm getting kinda sick of never having food at my place, but I have no idea what to buy or what to do with it. As a stressed out college student, I don't really have time to do 30-minute preparative meals every day.

I'd like some "Beginner's/Survivalist's Guide to Having Meals At Home" tips, from all you foodees...

What foods should I keep in stock? What are good, easy, foolproof dinners? Remember that I don't have much money, either >.<
