Hubby and I are both over 400lbs. I have very large hips, and we both have big bellies. Although we're not especially tall, we sit tall, because of our cushy butts. We're currently shopping for a 2008-2009 vehicle, preferally a midsize sedan, but we're flexible on the type of vehicle. Our budget is tight, though, so ideally we'd like to stay in the $25,000 range (or less, fingers crossed). We'd like to narrow our choices before going out to car lot after car lot. We've done quite a bit of internet research, but the measurements of a vehicle don't tell the whole story, so I thought we'd try to get some real-world advice from folks who might be in the same boat.
Our only "must-haves" are:
