From what I can tell, the healthcare.gov website where people were supposed to go to enroll in affordable healthcare has not worked very well, and is not expected to work very well for a while, if ever. Healthcare Technology Online called it a "train wreck," BusinessWeek said "Failure to Launch" and reported that only 1% of the millions who tried to enroll the first week actually managed to be able to do so. Former Obama press secretary Robert Gibbs called the attempted rollout "excruciatingly embarrassing" and a leading tech pundit reported that "if you really want to screw up something on a grand scale, you need to marshal the forces of the U.S. government."

Is it really that bad? Has anyone here tried to sign up? If so, what was the experience? Did it work?
