There is a cartoon in the cartoon thread that makes the claim that Richard Nixon was the most corrupt US president in history and George W. Bush was the dumbest president in history. (I would cite a link to that post without the actual image, but some the the Mods act like that violates the rules.)
In my study of history, most historians that I have read have said U.S. Grant had the most corrupt administration in history. (Though unlike the creator of this cartoon in question; in my opinion I think Barack Obama was president of the most corrupt modern presidency in history.)
Second, I have said before and will repeat again no modern US president is dumb. It is just some people judge intelligence based on whether they share a president's vision for the country.
BTW: I don't expect this thread to last very long. So while this post does not violate any of the technical rules of the site. I just wonder about the commitment of some of the Mods to debate and discussion?
