Thinking about moving to Bay Area.

I sure you guys hear this before, but the wife and I are tired of the snow, and kicking around the idea of moving to the California bay area, to escape the snow, out east.

We were in the Half moon bay area one August a few years ago, and enjoyed the weather, but wondering, if any good places near there.

Also how is the heat out there?
