It's the city we all love to hate, but there sure are a lot of songs about Ontario's capital.
In another thread, I posted a link to a video for "Spadina Bus", by the Shuffle Demons, and it got me to thinking about other songs written for, about, or taking place in the Big Smoke.
"Down By The Henry Moore", by Murray McLaughlan.
"The Coldest Night Of The Year", Bruce Cockburn.
"Toronto Tontos", by Max Webster.
These are just the ones that popped into my head at his late hour.
What Toronto songs are sticking with you?
I imagine it won't be long before someone posts something by the band Toronto, but for the life of me, I can't recall a single thing they did.
