Louise is back in the hospital. As best I remember the sequence, she went in last week and was diagnosed with pneumonia. They sent her home with a prescription to get medicine to use in a breathing machine but did not provide her with access to a breathing machine. Friday the breathing machine finally arrived. All weekend she was using her breathing machine and taking her antibiotics. She was not getting worse but she was not getting better and breathing was difficult. Monday morning she announced it was time for her to go to the emergency room.

Her blood oxygen level was 89 and they put her on oxygen and, upon finding that she had fluid in her lungs, put her on a medication to reduce the fluid in her lungs. She was then placed in a hospital room for overnight observation. Things are now better. She is no longer on oxygen, apparently the fluid is no longer in her lungs, she no longer feels that every breath is a struggle, and I am to come get her about 6:30 PM tonight. I am glad because Lori and I both believe that life is better with Louise in it.
