Since no one's dipped their toes in, I'll go first with an introductory type thread.
Let's find out what issues matter most to other posters as a get-to-know each other type activity.

The issues most important to me are:
GLBTQ equality - because I believe everyone should be equal in the law.
Economy - We need to figure out how to bring more jobs in while dealing with issues of the future, such as automation.
Healthcare - Preventative care is better than reactive care, and needs to be more affordable to the main consumers.
Education - We need something that isn't common core to become standard.
