Ladies, we all have that special item of clothing, makeup or other froufrou stuff that makes us feel very feminine when we put it, paint it, splash it on.
I was thinking about this today because I was going through a fashion magazine and smelled a couple of the more alluring perfume ads... And I realized how just being in the presence of the right scent can make me feel instantly "womanly."
Yes, for me, it's perfume. Mostly I like it somewhat flowery, though it has to be subtle and lasting--along the lines of Marc Jacobs' signature scent. At other times, I like my perfume a little musky or sandalwoodsy. Aveda used to make a great Purefume called Thea that I loved. It was heavenly. And once in a while I like a perfume that's loud and makes me smell like a French whore, like that Juicy Couture fragrance.
