Lions don't need to spank
I may be jumping the gun a little bit, but 2008 is almost 94% over. I am starting to look back and think about my favorite things that happened during the year. I thought maybe we could share them, along with our not so favorite things that happened during 2008. (This could be a personal list.)
My favorites of 2008 would be:
1. The summer Olympics in Bejiing - especially Michael Phelp's victories
2. The US Presidential election turnout - I witnessed history being made
3. The price of gas finally came down
4. I was happy to see so many new mothers, grandmothers, grandfathers, announced in the DIMS community.
Also, happy to read about the beautiful weddings among the DIMS brides too.
My not so favorite things of 2008:
1. The horrible forest fires in California
2. The US is still slugging it out in the Middle East
3. The US economy took a bad hit & people lost jobs
