Why does it seem everyone is hiding from fun????

I'm not sure if this is the right board to be posting to or not... i'm new so please forgive me if i'm wrong.... but....

I enjoy going out... Happy Hours with Co-Workers, Going to the Casino... chilling at the bar etc.. The thing I notice in my area is that women and men who are "bigger" are not out and about... I sometimes feel like I am the only one out there . Does anyone else feel that way??
