I bring this up as I just watched the first four Paranormal Activity movies (as mentioned in a different thread), and by the end of the 4th I was pretty much in 'testing my endurance' mode. Riding it out to the finish line, as it were.
So, in your opinion, what are the worst movie sequels of all time? Have any of them ruined a franchise for you?
I have several I could write about, but the first one that comes to mind is Exorcist II: The Heretic. I haven't re-watched it in about 20 years, and I never intend to again. It is that bad, and not in a 'good yet bad' way. Exorcist 3, while nowhere near a masterpiece, saved the franchise from this monstrosity.
