I would like to make a journey later in the year that would be a lot easier if I flew rather than drove. In fact I don't think I could drive it.

I haven't flown in a while. I'm resigned to the two seat thing and I have my sisters seat belt extender. Really what I'm worried about is 2 things. I'm only going to go if my (other) sister goes with me.

One - how narrow is the aisle? Basically the airlines don't seem to be any help. Plus I have one friend who says it'll be no problem and another that says I'm not going to make it!

Second - If I use a scooter can I take it all the way to the plane and then just walk the last bit? Or do I need to check it? I really don't want to be in some airport wheelchair being pushed by a porter. (I don't really want to be on the scooter at all but I think the walking will be too far).

If anyone has info I'd really appreciate it.
